Giant Lake Erie musky caught in the Buffalo Harbor

A great shot of my customer, Stan Skotnicki (and Derek Bell not in pix) with a huge Lake Erie, Niagara River musky. The big girl was over 40 lbs and 52″. She hit a green “watermelon” Perch bait, trolled over 22 feet at 2.8 mph. This monster bit just as we we ready to leave to watch the Bills beat the Jersey Jets. We lost another a short time before as it bent a hook right at the boat, just as I as going to net it. I guess the full moon had the big fish feeding. There is no better place anywhere in the world where you can catch such a wide variety of big fresh water fish then within a 50 mile radius of Buffalo New York.   BigMuskie1
