I feel especially grateful today for being able to call myself a full time fisherman. I am someone who actually feeds his family by being on the water almost everyday. During the beautiful months of spring summer and fall here in Western NY, there is no more productive body of water anywhere, then Lake Erie. The politics of NY are really not conducive to sportsmen like myself but living and working on a wonderful Lake like Erie helps me put up with some of the things that are out of my control. I take each and everyday that I am able to fish as a blessing from God, Himself and am grateful that He chose me as he did some of his 12 who were also fishermen. To carry on this timeless way of life…for that I feel extremely fortunate.
